Located in the Southern Pantanal, 236 km west of Campo Grande in the State Capital of Mato Grosso do Sul, the Caiman Refugio is settled on a 53,000 ha ranch. Involved in both ecotourism, (headquarters of the Blue Macaw Project) & nature conservation through supporting scientific studies led by national and international researchers. The refugio consists of four independent lodges.
